Dunhuang Dance is a form of Chinese dance which combines traditional culture, modern art, and influences from Buddhism. Dunhuang dance draws inspiration from the body movements in the Dunhuang grotto frescoes, and the instruments and music scores found in Dunhuang, West China, showcasing the enduring legacy of the Silk Road and its impact on Eastern and Western civilizations. The piece includes a dazzling array of dance movements incorporating classical Chinese dance and exotic folk dances. The dynamic movements, such as lightening up lotus lights, playing Chinese drums and bells, rebounding pipa and dancing Asparas transformations, depicting a splendid scene where auspicious clouds present with blessings from Buddas.
